Some of you may know that I'm writing my first novel. I've written 30,000 words, which is about 115 pages double-spaced. It's so much fun! I was doing research for a part that takes place in The Hamptons and I came across this absolutely perfect shingle-style house. Who doesn't love a good hydrangea hedge? Swoon! That's what I love about writing, and reading too, come to think of it. It's basically an extended daydreaming session. I'm all for reality, but that doesn't mean I don't catch myself drifting off in thought, imagining what life would be like in a house like this--- with a cute little convertible parked in the gravel driveway, of course. :)
